ANCIENT EGYPT What do you know about Ancient Egypt? Ancient Egypt was located on the fertile area surrounding the Nile River. The people of ancient Egypt used the land and river to set up villages. Many citizens of the villages worked hard to understand the cycles of the Nile River and used science and religion to make predictions about it. Ancient Egypt was ruled by many different Kings, or Pharaohs, who passed down their throne to members of their families. Ancient Egypt is usually broken down into three different periods, each with significant events that were important to their time. © Copyright NewPath Learning. All Rights Reserved.
