ORDINAL NUMBERS Ordinal numbers are numbers that are used to tell what order something is in. There are five kids in line at the water fountain. The girl with the red shirt on is FIRST in line. The boy with the blue shirt on is SECOND in line. The boy with the yellow shirt on is THIRD in line. The girl with the orange shirt on is FOURTH in line.
