ODD AND EVEN NUMBERS What are Odd and Even Numbers? ODD numbers are numbers that CAN NOT be equally divided in half, by 2. You can think of a poem to remember which numbers are odd, like this poem: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 odd numbers are quite fine! EVEN numbers are numbers that CAN be equally divided in half, by 2. You can think of a poem to remember which numbers are even, like this poem: 2, 4, 6, and 8 even numbers are really great! When deciding if a number is even or odd, ask yourself if you had that number of lollipops, would you be able to evenly divide the lollipops between you and your best friend? Would you and your best friend each get the SAME amount of lollipops? If YES, then that number is EVEN. © Copyright NewPath Learning. All Rights Reserved.
