MONTHS OF THE YEAR What are the Months of the Year? There are twelve months in one year. The months are always in the same order. January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December How to Figure out the Months: January, February, ________ What month is missing? Since you know the months always go in the same order, you can learn the sequence of the months and then just fill in the blank with the next one in the sequence. If you know March comes after February, you know the answer is March. January, February, March April, ______, June What month is missing? You know that May comes after April and June comes after May. That means the missing month must be May. April, May, June ________, September, October What month is missing? This is a little trickier. Think about what comes before September. You know that September comes after August. That means that August must be the missing month. August, September, October © Copyright NewPath Learning. All Rights Reserved.
